Verify Board Certification

This site will provide a real-time validation of board certification and *reportable disciplinary actions issued by NCCPA since 2012.

Effective March 2025, all board certification verification letters, score letters, and disciplinary reports include enhanced security features: a digital seal for emailed documents and a printed seal for mailed copies. Documents without these seals may be outdated. Please submit a new request for an updated version to confirm a PA’s current board certification status.

*NCCPA may issue a range of disciplinary sanctions. The sanctions of censure and permanent or non-permanent revocation of board certification or eligibility for certification are called "reportable" because they are reported by NCCPA to the Federation of State Medical Boards for entry into its Board Action Data Bank, any state licensing authority with which a PA holds or have held a license to practice as a PA, the federal government, and any other interested third party.
